Blood Donation Camp: Organized by MBA Dept. in association with KMC Blood Bank, Mangaluru

Dept. of Business Administration and National Service Scheme Unit of Sahyadri College in association with KMC Blood Bank, Mangaluru organized a Blood Donation Camp on 13th May, 2022. The Blood Donation Camp was inaugurated by Mr. Devdas Hegde, Trustee member, Bhandary Foundation. Dr. Deepa Adiga, Medical Officer, KMC Blood Bank, Mangaluru; Ms. Sreelatha, U.A., Academic Administrative Officer and Dr. Vishal Samartha, Director-MBA Program were present for the inaugural function. Prof. Ramesh K G, Dean-Strategic Planning, enlightened the students about the importance of blood donation and kicked off the programme. A total of 82 units of blood were donated by students and faculty members of Sahyadri. Dr. Deepa Adiga, Blood Bank Officer appreciated the organizers of Blood Donation Camp as Mangalore City is facing acute shortage of Blood and Blood Donors post Covid pandemic. On behalf of KMC Hospital, she handed over an Appreciation Certificate to Mr. Devdas Hegde.
