They are recruiting for the position of Trainee Software Engineer Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3. The package offered is INR 3.5 LPA, INR 4.5 LPA and INR 5.5 LPA respectively.

ECE Dept. Team's Research Paper Accepted for IEEE International Conference

A research paper titled “Design and Implementation of Humanoid Robot for Elderly Support System” has been accepted for presentation and publication at the IEEE International Conference on Data Computation and Communication (ICDCC) at VIT University, Bhopal, scheduled for November 29-30, 2024. Authored by Dr. Anush Bekal, HoD-Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE); Dr. Navaneeth Bhaskar, Associate Dean (R&D) and Associate Professor of ECE, along with final-year ECE students Prashank Poojary, Harshitha G, Sinchana Bangera M, and Rashi S, the paper addresses the pressing need for affordable and effective humanoid robots to assist the elderly. The proposed humanoid design focuses on cost-efficient solutions while catering to the growing demands of an aging population. Upon presentation, the paper will be published in IEEE Xplore and indexed in Scopus.

• Dr. Prima D’Souza has joined the Dept. of Business Administration-MBA as an Assistant Professor. She is an MBA graduate and a PhD holder in Management. Prima has a decade of teaching experience, covering a diverse range of over 30 management courses. She was awarded with ‘Best Research Scholar’ by Research and Innovation Council, Srinivas University, Mangaluru in 2023. Prima has 5 publications in Scopus indexed journals, 2 in ABDC Journals, 1 in UGC Care list journals, 3 patents published and 5 Book publications.

• Mr. Sanath Kumar K has joined the Dept. of Business Administration-MBA as an Assistant Professor. He is both KSET and NET qualified in Commerce and Management separately. He has completed MCOM as well as MBA. Sanath has 7 years of teaching experience and 1 year of industry experience in total. He has received the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), International Research Award 2024, for the Research Paper. He has also participated in many international chess tournaments and obtained International Chess Rating [FIDE] of 1910.

• Ms. Supritha Shine has joined the Humanities department (English) as an Assistant Professor. She has completed MBA as well as MA in English. Supritha is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Management. She has a total of 6 years of teaching experience.
