Under the leadership of Dr. Mustafa Basthikodi, our Head of the Department, the department has fostered a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and continuous learning. The faculty members are approachable, supportive, and always encourage us to explore beyond the classroom. Through technical workshops, hackathons, industry interactions, projects, and student-led initiatives, the department has helped me strengthen my technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and confidence. The 4 years spent in Sahyadri College have been very wonderful and I will forever be grateful to the college and faculty for all the help they’ve provided me through my journey of being a student to an Engineer. A career in electronics is what had been on my mind from the school days cause I loved the way PCBs looked and how they performed so many complex things. The E&C department faculty provided their support to aim for a job in the same domain instead of trying to just get a job which is something I appreciate a lot. The atmosphere and teachers in the department are very excellent. They truly care about their students and want to help them become successful in the future. The college has good infrastructure and houses a lot of startups which can be utilised by the students to get exposure towards the professional life. The college also provides extra courses for improving your aptitude skills which are the basic necessities to clear any placement drives for a fresher.
