MBA student placed at Coffee Day Global Ltd

Godwin Bino, a final-year MBA student specialising in Finance and Marketing, has been placed at Coffee Day Global Ltd as a Sales Trainee.
Café Coffee Day (CCD) is an Indian multinational chain of coffeehouses headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka. They are a subsidiary of Coffee Day Enterprises Limited. Internationally, CCD operates in Austria, the Czech Republic, Malaysia, Nepal, and Egypt.

CSE Students’ Research Work Accepted for Presentation and Publication at WCAIAA 2026, organized by NFSU, Goa

The research paper titled ‘AI-Enhanced Complaint Resolution System for Rail Madad’, authored by final-year CSE students Akarsh Rai, G J Sathwik Rai, Ranjana M Suvarna, and Vaishakh A, under the guidance of Dr. Poornima B V, has been accepted for presentation at 7th World Conference on Artificial Intelligence: Advances and Applications (WCAIAA 2026). The paper will be published in the conference proceedings in the Scopus-indexed Springer book series Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems. The conference is organized by the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Goa Campus, India, in association with the Soft Computing Research Society.

Finance Experts visited the MBA Dept. to interact with the faculty members

Mr. Sunil D’Souza, a social worker actively engaged in real estate projects and mergers and acquisitions, visited the Department of Business Administration along with CA Kiran Suvarna for an interaction with faculty members. The visit focused on discussions related to the syllabus of the subject Mergers, Acquisitions and Corporate Restructuring.
During the interaction, the guests shared valuable industry perspectives and discussed the need to align academic curriculum with current corporate practices. The discussion primarily revolved around enhancing employability, creating employment opportunities, and providing practical training to MBA students in the areas of mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring. The visit proved to be beneficial in strengthening industry–academia engagement and provided meaningful inputs towards making MBA education more industry-oriented and career-focused.

MBA Faculty Members Published Research Paper in Scopus Indexed SSDC Springer Book Series

Dr. Prima Dsouza, Dr. Vishal Samartha, Director of the MBA Program, Dr. Sushma V, Associate Professor, and Prof. Sagar Attavar, Department of Business Administration, have made a significant research contribution with their recent publication in a Scopus Q2-indexed Springer book series.
Their paper titled “Mapping Human Resource Barriers to Digital Transformation in Higher Education: An M-TISM and MICMAC Approach” appears in Technology and Entrepreneurship: Systems Driving Innovation, part of the ‘Studies in Systems, Decision and Control’ series (Volume 612), published by Springer, Cham. The study explores the key human resource and organizational barriers hindering digital transformation in higher education and examines their interrelationships using M-TISM and MICMAC analysis. It highlights how these interconnected barriers influence one another, offering insights to support effective strategic and managerial interventions.
