• Principal Investigator (PI) for the project titled “Automated Arecanut Sorting Machine”, funded under the GENESIS — Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR), Cohort-2, supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, through the SHINE Foundation. The project has received funding of ₹7.00 Lakh and is currently ongoing during 2026–27.
• Principal Investigator (PI) for the project titled “Optimization of High-Yield Biodiesel Production from Fish Oil using Nano-Catalyst and Performance Evaluation in Diesel Engine”, supported by the VTU–TEQIP Competitive Research Grant. The project was sanctioned with a funding of ₹2.00 Lakh and was successfully completed during 2019–20.
• Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI) for the project titled “Production of Biodiesel from Fish Oil on Extracting Omega-3 Fatty Acid from Fish Oil”, funded by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, under the Research Promotion Scheme (RPS). The project received a grant of ₹13.21 Lakh and was completed during 2017–20.
• Guided the project titled “Educational Drone Kit – FLYFI: Autonomous UAS for Disaster Surveillance,” funded by the Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS), Department of Electronics, Information Technology & Biotechnology (E&IT), Government of Karnataka. The project was sanctioned with a grant of ₹2.40 Lakh and was carried out during the period 2021–2025.

Institution Building & Funding Mobilization

• Prepared the business plan for the Atal Community Incubation Centre (ACIC) proposal to Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) — project worth ₹5 Crore — institution selected for AIM funding.
• Prepared the business plan (as Chief Coordinator) for the AICTE IDEA Lab proposal — project worth ₹0.9 Crore — institution selected for AICTE funding.
• Prepared the business plan for the Atal Incubation Centre (AIC) proposal to AIM — project worth ₹12.5 Crore.
• Established the Advanced Energy Research Laboratory (₹15 Lakh) at Sahyadri Campus, funded by AICTE and VTU-TEQIP.
• Led MSME Idea Hackathon 3.0 (2023–24), 4.0 (2024–25), and 5.0 (2025–26) as Convener, enabling the institute to secure ₹60 Lakh in funding through proposal coordination, execution, and compliance.
• Facilitated filing and publication of 22 Indian utility patents (2023–24) and 12 patents (2024–25) in the institute's name; submitted 22 published patents to the AICTE KAPILA portal and secured fee reimbursement of ₹1,23,200.
