ISRO Scientists visit Caliper & qualify it for Welding to ISRO

ISRO Scientists visited Caliper, a Mechanical Engineering Start-up Company in Sahyadri during 9th to 10th May’18 to evaluate & qualify Caliper for speciality welding in Stainless Steel, Titanium & Aluminium materials. They were fascinated & impressed with the facilities, including robotic welding station. While evaluating, they also shared their vast experience in welding space components. Caliper is qualified for welding for ISRO as well as providing trained welders to ISRO for their in-house welding jobs. This is good news to young aspiring mechanical engineering students of Sahyadri to pursue high tech welding career.
