He has 35 years of experience in construction industry, from which he shares that - the cost overruns in various projects is due to lot of time spent on in-situ construction and, if this factor is properly planned and executed then it will definitely avoid cost overrun. He also threw light on “Sequential Vs Parallel Techniques in Construction”. He concluded his talk with a key note that “Quality is about Managing Expectations”.

Er. Anil Baliga in his technical talk emphasised on importance of civil engineers for a developing country like India. Civil engineers are the makers and also the rulers. As a civil engineer it is our duty to respect our mother earth and try to lead a sustainable construction industry.
