Exhibition organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering

The fourth semester (B section) students of Department of Mechanical
Engineering organized a model exhibition of mechanisms to understand the
working of different Kinematic linkages. Dr. Umesh M Bhushi, Principal
was the chief guest of the event. Speaking on the occasion, he eulogized
the students and encouraged them to take up such events. He also
suggested them to inculcate the aspect of critical thinking which would
contribute to the improvement of design. Further, he also suggested
brainstorming sessions to incorporate the concept of design thinking
more effectively. Various models of mechanisms were showcased by the
students and were appreciated by all. Prof. Rakshith H S, Department of
Mechanical Engineering coordinated the event.
