On 20th May 2021, a Webinar on “Teaching–Learning using Google Classroom” was organized by the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering supported by Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) through Google Meet platform. The speaker of the session was Prof. Duddela Sai Prashanth, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering. He gave a Demo on the working of Google Classroom.
The highlights of the session were:
• Creation of Google class, inviting and sharing the link with the class code.
• Generating Google meet links via Google Classrooms.
• Creating classwork in Google Classroom which includes Assignments and Quizzes to be assigned to the students.
• Creation of Google Forms for conduction of Quiz and its Rubrics.
• Different materials to be uploaded in Google Classroom for student’s reference.
• Attendance Tracker through Google Meet which is an add-on from Google Chrome extensions.
Faculty members from various departments such as Computer Science & Engineering, Information Science & Engineering, Basic Science, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and MBA were the beneficiaries of the session.
