Faculty and Students of Dept. Of Mechanical Engineering visit KFDC Ltd, Mangaluru

Dept. of Mechanical Engineering has taken up a project titled “SUNCON”. The project focuses on building the next generation air conditioners using solar power. The project would be guided by Mr. Arvind C Kumar, Independent Consultant, External Guide and Prof. Ramakrishna, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering. In this regards, a team comprising of students and faculty of the department visited the Cold Storage facility at the Karnataka Fisheries Development Corporation Ltd (KFDC), Mangaluru. The visit enabled the team to get insights in the field of refrigeration and air-conditioning. The team also explored the possible internship opportunities for the students of Mechanical engineering at KFDC. Prof. Suhas, Prof. Kiran Prakasha, Prof. Vikas, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering were also present during the visit.
