MBA Faculty Members Attend Faculty Enhancement Programme

Five faculties from the Department of Business Administration – Dr. Molly S Chaudhuri, Prof. Ramesh KG, Prof. Padmanabha B, Prof. Abhaya Kumar K & Prof. Sushma V were deployed for a Faculty Development Programme at Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIMK) on “Innovative Approaches in Management Teaching” during Nov 14th – Nov 19th’2016.
The six day programme included sessions on Peer Learning, Visuals-based Teaching, Activity & Game-based Teaching, Case-based Teaching, Innovative Teaching Methods, Teaching through Historical Cases & Narratives, Teaching through social media and Audio/Video Advertisements. Participants were also given heads up on understanding the Learning style of the students through psychometric test and designing the Teaching Pedagogy basis the style of learning either through visuals, listening or practice. Sahyadri faculties had an opportunity to conduct a class during the session followed by feedback being shared by the facilitator of the programme. Sahyadri MBA Team spent quality time discussing the practices adopted at IIMK in order to carry out the best practices at Sahyadri & give the best learning experience to the students.
