 Conclusion of Two-day Indian Red Cross SERV Team Training

The Two-day Social Emergency Response Volunteers (SERV) Team training for our students organized by Indian Red Cross Society, Dakshina Kannada Branch and Sahyadri Youth Red Cross Unit concluded on Sunday 3rd Nov’19. A total of 35 engineering and MBA students were trained in essential life saving skills, dealing with all kinds of emergency like bleeding control and bandaging, first aid for poisoning and bites, CPR, heart attack, choking, epilepsy, stroke, shock, shifting and transporting casualty, fracture management and disaster preparedness & response.

The students had the privilege of being trained by experts Mr. Sacheth Suvarna, SERV coordinator, IRCS DK and IRCS First Aid Instructors Mr. Ashwin Kumar, Mrs. Gloria Rodrigues, and Mr Uday Kumar Shetty.

The training session concluded with scenario demonstration and role play by our students.
