Induction Programme for the MBA Batch 2019 to be held during 16th to 24th Sep’19 was inaugurated by Ms. Sandhya V, Head – Business HR, Resideo India, a spinned off company of Honeywell. Prof. Ramesh KG, Dean-Strategic Planning welcomed the gathering.
Dr. Vishal Samartha, Director-MBA introduced Sahyadri and the Department to the new entrants. During the Inaugural Address, Sandhya appreciated the Voluntary Mentoring System at Sahyadri unlike other colleges that she visited, wherein students need to earn a Mentor and does not come to them easily. She urged students to invest their time & effort on tasks that have sheer purpose and impact. She said –
“Make your Dream your Goal and work towards it”. She congratulated the students as they are now a part of an institution that provides world-class facilities to students.
Dr. R Srinivasa Rao Kunte, Principal in his Presidential address mentioned about the increase in the number of in-house companies with the aim to provide internship opportunities as per AICTE Norms. He also encouraged students to take up Entrepreneurship as their career.
Prof. Akshatha P, the Coordinator gave information about the sessions and activities lined up during the Induction Programme.
