Fit India Walkathon for Faculty at Sahyadri

Sahyadri NSS Unit in collaboration with Department of Physical Education and Sahyadri Health Centre organized various activities for the staff and students on the occasion of Fit India Movement launched by The Honourable Prime Minister on 29th Aug’19. A walkathon event was held for the teaching and non-teaching staff and 10,000 steps challenge was held for the students.

Dr. R Srinivasa Rao Kunte, Principal flagged off the event and the staff went on a three round walk around the campus. It is worth mentioning that in spite of heavy rains the faculty continued to walk and completed the race.
