Sahyadri Student - Asmath Sharmeen T S, the Golden Girl of VTU with 1st Rank in Civil Engineering and 13 Gold Medals for the Academic Year 2019-20

Asmath Sharmeen T S is now called as the Golden Girl of VTU for securing 13 Gold Medals (highest number of Gold Medals by a single student) and 1st Rank in Civil Engineering in the recently released VTU Rank List for the Academic year 2019-20. It is an achievement for an individual student to have obtained highest number (13) of Gold Medals at VTU. She will be receiving her degree from his Excellency Shri. Vajubhai Vala, the Chancellor of the University during the 20th Annual Convocation to be held on 3rd April’2021 at VTU, Belagavi and sure to steal the limelight clinching a good haul of 13 Gold Medals.
She has secured a CGPA of 9.42 bringing laurels to Sahyadri by securing 1st Rank in Civil Engineering among 203 affiliated institutions of Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. Her Faculty members say that she was not only excellent in Academics but also in extra-curricular activities right from her first semester and Sahyadri was looking forward to a Rank from such a talented Asmath Sharmeen. She is currently preparing for competitive exams for a high yielding career.
