14-Sep-2016

On the last day of the Induction Programme for the MBA New Entrants, the Management and the faculty team of Department of Business Administration conducted a group activity wherein the students were given an opportunity to discuss and note down their expectations. The group presented the key aspects of why they chose Sahyadri for their MBA, their expectations from Sahyadri MBA and also shared further doubts on matters relating to the curriculum.

This was a productive session wherein the Faculty team including the Principal penned down the key aspects presented by the students, gave answers to various doubts they had in mind, understood the expectations from the students as they would be spending the next two crucial years of their life at Sahyadri and chalked out a Roadmap on the actions to be taken in response to the expectations and needs of the students. It was encouraging to note that they were focussed on their personal development and longed to see a transformational change in them by the end of their MBA course. They were keen on being placed in an esteemed organization and appreciated the support of the faculty team. Students were informed of the Value added courses apart from the VTU Curriculum that are already introduced in the daily schedule which not only develop their knowledge & skills but also provides a forum which enhances their ability to exhibit what they learnt and practiced during the course. These include Aptitude Class, MS-Office Training, Communication Enhancement Sessions, SPSS Software Class, Soft Skills & Leadership Development Sessions, E-Learning Portal, Industry Exposure Visits, and Industry Interaction in the Campus.

Students were stimulated to go extra mile in being the best among themselves and also make Sahyadri MBA on par with the premier institutes. Students were also invited to join hands in making Sahyadri MBA one among the best B-Schools. This activity opened doors for students to invest time and effort in building case studies of the situations in and around Sahyadri and contribute towards the growth and improvement collaboratively.
