MBA Student Recruited by Kingdom University Bahrain

Mr. Rajesha T Mathew (2014 – 2016 batch) has been appointed by Kingdom
University, Bahrain, for the position of “Specialist in Accreditation
and Quality Assurance Office” with highest salary package in the zone
ie. Rs.14.04 lakhs per annum. Rajesh would be deployed to work closely
with the Vice-President of the University for Accreditation. He has been
recognised for his exceptional MBA internship project on “Application
of Lev & Schwartz Compensation Model on the Human Resource
Accounting practices of MCF Limited” under the guidance of Dr. Vishal
Samartha, Director, Department of Business Administration. He has a work
experience of one year at Larsen & Toubro, Mysore. He is a B.Sc.
graduate and has pursued MBA in dual specialization – marketing &
HR.
He was felicitated in the presence of his parents for being appointed by
the Kingdom University, Bahrain. During the felicitation programme, Dr.
Vishal Samartha, Director, Department of Business Administration shared
the glimpse of Rajesh’s journey of MBA and the internship project which
was completed under her guidance. She highlighted that the best
projects are sent to universities and corporate organizations out of
which Rajesh’s project was recognised and was offered to appear for a
SKYPE job interview. She appreciated Rajesh for giving her a gift on the
occasion of “Gurupoornima” in the form of an Offer Letter that he
received from Kingdom University since she sees her student’s
achievement as her success.
Mr. Manjunath Bhandary, Chairman, Bhandary Foundation, in his speech
acknowledged that an institution cannot move to a national or
international level, but it is the students and the faculties who take
the brand image of an academic institution to a national or
international level. Today, Rajesh has branded Sahyadri College of
Engineering & Management in the Kingdom University of Bahrain. He
recognised the efforts of MBA faculties in evaluating the strengths of
their students, nurturing them and making opportunities available to
them. He emphasised that achievers like Rajesh will be a motivator to
others as he comes from a rural background and has inspired youngsters -
that with hard work and dedication, one can reach greater heights.
Mr. Rajesh T Mathew expressed his gratefulness to the Sahyadri
management and his faculties for being great contributors in his
achievement. He overwhelmingly mentioned that his first salary would be
donated to the Sahyadri Corpus Fund, the fund that will be used for the
up-liftment of students. He acknowledged the fact that his guide Dr.
Vishal Samartha played a key role in moulding him to be an industry-fit
resource. Though he would be earning outside India, he would always
ensure he brands the image of his nation and Sahyadri College of
Engineering & Management for making him what he is today.
Dr. Umesh M Bhushi, Principal, in his speech highlighted that
project-based learning; the brain-child of the Chairman has proven
results with job offers for our students in esteemed organizations. He
re-iterated that the recent HR Meet that was hosted by Sahyadri College
of Engineering & Management in Bangalore had several corporate
leaders attend it and they appreciated Sahyadri’s education structure
being the ultimate. He also highlighted that Mr. Priyank Kharge,
Karnataka’s IT Minister, who was also a part of the HR Connect, was
appreciative of Sahyadri and urged the Universities to replicate
Sahyadri Education Structure.
