He wasn't just a source of inspiration but my role model in my life who taught me that it is not necessary to be a teacher to teach”.
“I'm really happy at the moment. This achievement wouldn't have been possible without the guidance of our faculties and management. I would like to thank God, my parents and my family who always supported me in all my endeavors. I'm grateful to Prof. SudheerShetty, Dean-Examinations, who is my personal mentor, guide and whose valuable suggestions at every stage have finally borne fruit today”.
I would also like to thank Dr. ManjunathBhandary, Chairman, and Sahyadri College of Engineering &Management for providing us with all the facilities and practical based learning which helps in the overall development of a student's skill set. I would like to extend my gratitude to the Principal, Deans, HoD and the whole department of Computer Science & Engineering for being very supportive at every stage. Last but not the least I would like to thank my friends for always being there for me”.
‘I'd always be grateful to this beautiful institution which has been the backbone to my success”.

Meeting All the Goals: After mentoring is completed, follow up on successes,Provide an evaluation of the experience and Repeat the mentoring process with others.
A mentee is someone who has identified a specific personal or professional goal and who believes that the guidance and help of a mentor – and being held accountable to the mentor – can help them achieve their goal.

Teaching Learning Process
Peer to Peer Learning
In order to improve the student learning process and self-esteem, cooperative and peer to peer learning process is practiced. The process involves more of student’s involvement, where they design various tasks and involve their peers to take up that task there by improving positive relationship and garner wider friends circle.
Guidelines of peer to peer learning process:
- Class Representative (CR) will be in charge of taking attendance of the students during respective hours.
- Faculty members will identify a team of four students (Called peer team) in their subject.
- They will engage the class. He/she should elect a topic (from syllabus) for which they must deliver a presentation during the respective hours.
- Toward the end of each class, a small quiz about five questions will be conducted as a test, which will be evaluated by the peer team itself at later stage.
- The peer team has to submit consolidated report of the test to respective faculty member.
- Faculty member will discuss result of Quiz in the subsequent classes and clarify the doubts.
Case Study Based Approach
Case studies are given to the students to enhance the communication and presentation skills of the students.
Guidelines for case study based approach are as follow
- Case studies can be given on topics which are relevant in syllabus but should have some impact of application of the topic with real world examples.
- If case studies are given in programming or problematic subjects then students are expected to show the demonstration during their presentation.
- Generally case studies should be assigned to a team of students.
- Appropriate rubrics should be developed for evaluation of the case studies.
