CSE Dept. organized a Branch Introduction Programme for First Year Students

Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering organized the Branch Introduction programme for newly joined Computer Science Engineering students in the Nethravathi Auditorium on 10th Apr’2021.
At the outset, the Head of the Department - Dr. Pushpalatha K addressed students to be active and passionate in all activities that the department organizes. She also conveyed her best wishes for the upcoming semester-end exams.
During the first half, the speaker Prof. Duddela Sai Prashanth interacted with the students by presenting them overview of Computer Science & Engineering, and job opportunities for Computer Science Engineers with average annual package that the top MNCs offer. The advantage of pursuing the course in Computer Science at Sahyadri was emphasized. The opportunities for project works, and converting ideas to products, at Sahyadri, were also discussed.
In the second half, students had learning-based activities related to Computer Science. Jumbled words and Crossword puzzle was conducted.
