OVERVIEW OF DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE & ENGINEERING

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering was started in the year 2007 with a student intake of 60 to cater to the needs of software industries. Further, the intake was increased to 120 in the year 2009 and subsequently to 180, 240 in the year 2014 and 2022 Respectively. In order to create specialization incorporating future skills specified by global top-notch companies and based on their requirements, the institute has added more specialized programs in conjunction with Computer Science & Engineering.

The Program Computer Science & Engineering is also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for a period of 3 years from 2020-23.
